NWD Finance (BVI) Limited (the Issuer) and New World Development Company Limited (the Company) announced the deferment of a distribution payment on U.S.$1.30 billion Guaranteed Senior Perpetual Capital Securities (Stock Code: 5856). According to the terms and conditions of these perpetual securities, the distribution previously scheduled for 7 March 2026 will be deferred, as an Optional Deferral Event has occurred and remains in effect.

The Company, as guarantor, has signed a certificate acknowledging the continued existence of this Optional Deferral Event.
