MetaOptics Ltd (9MT) said on Dec, 1 2025 that it will issue 6,685,028 new ordinary shares at 0.7255 Singapore dollars apiece to raise about 4.85 million Singapore dollars.

The company stated that the proceeds will be used to strengthen its financial position, provide working capital, enhance supply-chain readiness and support scaling plans for its glass-based metalens solutions.

According to MetaOptics, the placement was subscribed by a mix of new investors and existing shareholders who have followed the firm since its listing on the Catalist board of the Singapore Exchange in Sep, 2025.

The group added that it is experiencing increasing demand for its metalens technology across consumer devices, automotive systems and industrial applications, and that the new funds will help it fulfil anticipated customer purchase orders.
