The Bank of East Asia, Limited (Stock Code: 23) has notified holders of its US$500.00 million Non-Preferred Loss Absorbing Notes due 2027 that it will redeem all outstanding Notes on 15 March 2026 in accordance with the terms and conditions of issuance.

The Notes were issued under the Bank’s US$6.00 billion Medium Term Note Programme. As of 13 February 2026, the outstanding amount stands at US$500.00 million. Upon completion of the redemption, the Notes will be canceled in full, and the listing of the Notes will be withdrawn from the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
