Special Feature: 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference & First Green Industry and Sustainable Consumption Expo The 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference is being held from October 16 to 18 in the Expo Park of Huangpu District, Shanghai. He Xiaopeng, Chairman and CEO of XPENG-W, attended and delivered a speech.
He Xiaopeng mentioned that over the past three years, artificial intelligence (AI) has been a very hot topic, but most of the AI discussed is digital AI and remains relatively primitive. “Much of the AI we refer to is not large model AI.”
He believes that new AI is creating entirely new productive forces, and the relationship of production is bound to change. Originally, the relationship was between people, during the internet era it became a relationship involving people and machines, and in the future, machines will develop into a relationship with intelligence.
He pointed out that XPENG-W is conducting comprehensive research and development in physical AI, stating that those who genuinely want to excel in software must eventually work on hardware. In the future world, the physical world will be diverse and dynamic. Only by developing the essence and power of hardware can we hope for significant innovation.
He introduced that last month, XPENG-W officially launched a new generation of robots, which will introduce an entirely new AI system called VLT. This system integrates visual and language inputs to directly output and generate task systems, potentially evolving into cognitive functions in the future.
“I believe humanoid robots will cause substantial changes in many industries globally within the next 2 to 5 years. Over the next 10 to 20 years, they will significantly transform family life,” he stated.
He also revealed that XPENG-W plans to commence true mass production of flying cars next year, predicting that their growth speed will surpass that of traditional cars, leading to a greater future market share than cars.
The 2025 Sustainable Global Leaders Conference is co-hosted by the World Green Design Organization (WGDO) and Sina Group, with the Beijing office of the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation (IFRS Foundation) as a co-organizer. The event is supported by the People's Government of Huangpu District, Shanghai.
