Following its nearly 100 million yuan global humanoid robot order secured in July, UBTECH ROBOTICS has once again broken records by obtaining a 250 million yuan procurement contract for embodied intelligent humanoid robot products and solutions from a renowned domestic enterprise. The contract primarily features the humanoid robot Walker S2, which is equipped with an autonomous hot-swappable battery system. UBTECH will begin delivering under this contract within this year. This marks the company's largest contract to date. As of now, UBTECH's Walker series humanoid robots have secured nearly 400 million yuan in contracts, including approximately 50 million yuan in humanoid robot orders already delivered in H1.

**Already Signed with Binhai Bay New Area**
Currently, UBTECH has established deep partnerships with numerous renowned enterprises including BYD, Dongfeng Liuqi, Geely Auto, FAW-Volkswagen, Audi FAW, BAIC New Energy, Foxconn, and SF Express. Its industrial humanoid robot Walker S series has entered practical training at multiple factories globally.
According to information from Dongguan Binhai Bay, Shenzhen UBTECH Robotics Corp., Ltd. signed an agreement with Dongguan Binhai Bay New Area in April to establish the UBTECH (Dongguan) Artificial Intelligence Industrial Base. The industrial base will focus on core areas such as AI technology research and development and application scenario expansion, creating an AI technology education practice base featuring Dongguan's artificial intelligence and robotics characteristics. Through the construction of UBTECH's embodied intelligence co-research and co-creation center, it will build an AI industry talent cultivation system covering from basic education to industrial applications.
**Binhai Bay New Area Enters the Trillion-Yuan Intelligent Robotics Track**
Since this year, the rapid rise of humanoid robots has made the robotics industry a hotly contested track for multiple cities nationwide. As Dongguan's second-largest pillar industry, the high-end equipment manufacturing industry has a production value scale of 500 billion yuan, with the robotics industry being an important component.
In April this year, Dongguan consecutively released the "Dongguan Action Plan for Accelerating Innovation and Development of Intelligent Robotics Industry (2025-2027)" and its supporting policy "Several Policy Measures for Promoting Innovation and Development of Dongguan's Intelligent Robotics Industry" to support the development of robotics enterprises and cultivate fertile ground for robotics growth.
The "Dongguan Action Plan for Accelerating Innovation and Development of Intelligent Robotics Industry (2025-2027)" proposes that by 2027, Dongguan will achieve breakthroughs in core components, multi-modal perception technology, motion control technology, and dexterous manipulation technology. The intelligent robotics industry cluster will include over 1,000 related enterprises, forming a high-quality enterprise tier of more than 120 "single champions" and specialized enterprises, with cluster-related industry revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan.
As a new engine for Dongguan's future high-quality development, Dongguan Binhai Bay New Area is making full efforts to build a robotics ecosystem deeply integrated with industrial scenarios. The successive establishment of robotics projects like UBTECH has injected strong momentum into the regional industry.
Dongguan Binhai Bay New Area has not only issued the "Dongguan Binhai Bay New Area Industrial Development Plan (2025-2030)," clearly defining the industrial development direction with intelligent terminals and artificial intelligence as the main focus, but has also released a series of supporting policies, providing up to 2 million yuan in support for AI and robotics enterprises.
