The sharp decline was fueled by escalating concerns over the sustainability of massive artificial intelligence infrastructure investments. Reports of China's progress in localizing lithography equipment, coupled with the explosive trading debut of Chinese memory chip maker CXMT, stoked fears of increased pressure on established global semiconductor players.
