On September 22, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce unveiled the "2026 China Top 500 Private Enterprises" list, alongside the "2026 China Top 500 Manufacturing Private Enterprises" and "2026 China Top 100 Service Private Enterprises" rankings.

Midea Group Co., Ltd., Country Garden Life Services Group Co., Ltd., and Infore Group Co., Ltd.—three private enterprises headquartered in Shunde—secured places on these prestigious lists. Compiled authoritatively by the federation and anchored on annual operating revenue, the national Top 500 ranking serves as a key benchmark for assessing the overall strength, competitive edge, and growth momentum of private firms. Among the five Foshan companies featured on the "2026 China Top 500 Private Enterprises" list, all three Shunde leaders made the cut, with Midea Group Co., Ltd. ranking 13th overall on revenue of 458.5024 billion yuan, the highest position among Foshan entrants.

Additionally, Midea Group Co., Ltd. and Infore Group Co., Ltd., together with five other local firms, were recognized on the "2026 China Top 500 Manufacturing Private Enterprises" list, while Country Garden Life Services Group Co., Ltd. earned a spot on the "2026 China Top 100 Service Private Enterprises" list.

The "2026 Research and Analysis Report on China's Top 500 Private Enterprises" was also released the same day. This marks the 28th large-scale survey of private enterprises conducted by the federation, encompassing 6,350 companies with annual revenues exceeding 1 billion yuan in 2025, from which the top 500 by revenue were selected. The report shows that in 2025, the Top 500 firms posted combined operating revenue of 44.93 trillion yuan, averaging 89.851 billion yuan per company—up 4.35% year-on-year—and net profits totaling 1.83 trillion yuan, or 3.652 billion yuan on average, a 1.31% increase. Their total tax contributions reached 1.30 trillion yuan, with 254 firms each paying over 1 billion yuan in taxes, accounting for 50.80% of the list. R&D spending across the group hit 1.26 trillion yuan, supported by a workforce of 1.3449 million researchers, reflecting an average R&D intensity of 2.95%.

As private enterprises serve as the bedrock and driving force of regional economies, the inclusion of these three Shunde corporate champions underscores not only their robust capabilities, operational excellence, and innovative vitality, but also Shunde's long-term commitment to the real economy, industrial upgrading, and a thriving private-sector ecosystem. It highlights the resilience, hard power, and industrial-cluster leadership of Shunde's private economy, channeling fresh momentum into the high-quality development of both Shunde and the wider Foshan region.
