On July 22, Jiumaojiu surged nearly 7% in early trading, as the year-over-year decline in daily average sales at Tai Er stores significantly narrowed in Q2.

In the announcement, Jiumaojiu revealed that as of June 30, 2025, the company's total number of restaurants across all brands amounted to 729. In the second quarter of 2025, daily average sales at self-operated Tai Er stores dropped by 13.7% year-over-year; daily average sales at Song Hot Pot stores decreased by 14.3%; and daily average sales at Jiumaojiu stores fell by 18.5%.

The announcement stated that in the second quarter of 2025, the daily average sales at key brands' stores continued to show a year-over-year decline, mainly reflecting the persistent consumption pressures caused by external factors. Among them, the year-over-year decline in daily average sales at Tai Er and Song Hot Pot stores significantly narrowed compared to the first quarter. The month-by-month narrowing of the year-over-year decline in daily average sales at Tai Er stores from April to June 2025 indicates initial success in operational adjustments and signs of stabilization.
