Sinopec Oilfield Service Corporation (Sinopec SSC) has confirmed the election of Li Lizhi, 58, as the employee representative director on the company’s eleventh Board of Directors. His tenure begins on 27 March 2026 and will run through the remaining term of the current board.
Li is a senior engineer holding a master’s degree. Since joining China Petrochemical Corporation’s Baling Branch in 1990, he has accumulated more than three decades of experience, mainly within the human-resources function. Key positions have included Deputy Director roles in the HR divisions of both China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation and China Petrochemical Corporation (2004–2005). He became Head of the Party Committee Organization Department and Manager of the HR Department at Sinopec SSC in 2013, advanced to Deputy Chief Political Engineer in 2019, and has served as Chief Expert in Human Resources Management since May 2022.
The company disclosed that Li: • Holds no directorships in other listed companies over the past three years. • Has no relationships with directors, senior management, substantial, or controlling shareholders. • Owns no shares in Sinopec SSC under Part XV of Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Ordinance. • Has not been subject to any regulatory sanctions or stock-exchange disciplinary actions.
Li will enter into a service contract with remuneration determined under relevant state regulations and the company’s implementation measures; actual figures will be released in Sinopec SSC’s annual report.
Following the appointment, the eleventh board comprises nine members: Executive Directors Wu Baizhi and Zhang Jiankuo; Non-Executive Directors Wang Minsheng, Zhang Lili, and Du Kun; Independent Non-Executive Directors Zheng Weijun, Wang Pengcheng, and Liu Jiangning; and Employee Representative Director Li Lizhi.
