Since the first inland port hub was completed in 2022, the district has fully unleashed the superimposed effects of road-rail-sea intermodal transport, relying on four major railway trunk lines — the Beijing-Shanghai, Cangzhou-Huanghua, Shuozhou-Huanghua and Handan-Huanghua lines — to promote seamless connections between trunk line transport and port logistics. At the construction site of the Cangzhou Smart Cold Chain Logistics Industrial Park, construction teams are pressing ahead with work. This key project, with a total investment of 1.36 billion yuan, covers 437 mu with a total floor area of 205,500 square meters and is expected to be completed in 2028. Once built, it will fill the gap in agricultural product circulation. Focusing on upgrading industrial capacity, Xinhua District coordinates the promotion of scale-oriented, intelligent and modernized upgrading of the logistics sector: road logistics takes the Changlu Avenue corridor as its axis, forming a nationwide trunk line network and urban distribution system through resource integration and leadership by leading enterprises; railway logistics relies on strong network advantages to become an important railway materials distribution center in the North China region; the new track of low-altitude logistics is gaining strong momentum, with a low-altitude logistics project with a total investment of 550 million yuan accelerating, adopting a collaborative delivery model of drones plus unmanned vehicles, and laying out a "low-altitude plus smart logistics" intercity delivery network. Once completed, it is expected to deliver more than 2 million parcels annually, and the district's modern logistics industry is accelerating toward high-end and digital transformation.
