ASUS ROG has introduced a new version of its G9X gaming desktop, now available on the JD platform with a list price of $17,999 and a promotional price of $16,499 in select regions. The system is powered by the Arrow Lake architecture-based Ultra 7 270K Plus processor, featuring a 24-core, 24-thread configuration with a performance core boost clock of up to 5.5GHz. It comes with a 76MB total cache and an integrated NPU AI chip, while the graphics card is the ASUS Master Series RTX 5070, built on the Blackwell architecture with support for full ray tracing and the latest DLSS 4 technology, along with a dual BIOS switching feature.
Memory and storage include 32GB of DDR5 5600 dual-channel RAM and a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. The motherboard offers three M.2 slots, one of which is a PCIe 5.0 channel directly connected to the CPU, allowing for future upgrades to top-tier SSDs. The chassis is a 58-liter gaming-oriented design with a distinctive asymmetrical shape and clean geometric lines, featuring the classic ROG diagonal pattern and eye logo. It includes 3D spatial RGB lighting with AURA SYNC support, enabling users to customize lighting effects and sync them with other ROG peripherals.
Cooling is managed by a four-fan system with a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler, where each fan delivers up to 65 CFM of airflow. The ring-shaped dynamic bearing fans are designed for durability and quiet operation, with Fan Xpert software supporting custom fan speed curves. On the rear I/O panel, the system provides one DisplayPort 1.4 for integrated graphics output, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C, four USB 2.0 Type-A, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one 2.5Gb RJ-45 Ethernet port, and three audio jacks. The top panel includes two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C, one microphone jack, and one headphone jack.
Additional features include pre-installed Windows 11 and a licensed Office Home edition, along with the Armoury Crate control center for unified system tuning. The desktop also offers one remote service session in the first year and a three-year on-site warranty for the entire system.
