Hebei Province is taking steps to strengthen its elderly care sector by establishing a new expert database.

To leverage professional knowledge in this field and accelerate the high-quality development of elderly care services across the province, the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs has issued a public notice. The initiative aims to recruit and select qualified experts from across the region to form a dedicated advisory panel.

The call for applications is open to individuals working in universities, research institutes, enterprises, administrative bodies, social organizations, and care facilities within Hebei who are involved in related policy research and practical work.

Expertise is being sought across a broad spectrum of areas, including medical care, health and wellness, retirement living, rehabilitation nursing, traditional Chinese medicine, social work, smart care solutions, accessibility services, financial planning for seniors, legal rights protection, senior education, and talent development.

Applicants must hold a senior professional title or equivalent vocational qualification, have at least five years of relevant experience, and be under 65 years of age. A clean record without any disciplinary or legal violations is also required.

The application window remains open until August 31, 2026. Selected experts will be invited to participate in research projects, policy evaluations, and drafting sessions. They may also be asked to lead specific studies, attend forums and seminars, and be recommended to municipal and county civil affairs departments to support local elderly care initiatives.
