The initial operational section of Beijing Sub-Center Station's integrated transport hub has passed final inspection and will commence operations alongside the Beijing-Tangshan Railway. The station's roof structure spans approximately 27,400 square meters.

During construction, spatial constraints prevented ground assembly of the ten "Jingfan" steel structures, requiring innovative solutions for mid-air welding without reference points. Engineers employed 3D modeling and intelligent surveying to create digital twins, overcoming challenges including complex hoisting, multi-angle beam installation, and aerial welding.

The project extensively utilized industrial robots, including safety inspection robots that detect and alert workers' violations, and construction robots capable of automated cutting and welding at difficult angles.

Qiang Hanlin, Deputy Director of Beijing's Housing and Urban-Rural Development Commission's Technology Department, stated: "As a national pilot city for intelligent construction, Beijing has made breakthroughs in core technologies including basic software, digital design, and smart construction. The Sub-Center transport hub is among 74 pilot projects establishing new benchmarks."

Authorities plan to leverage the Sub-Center's development to establish Tongzhou District as an intelligent construction industry cluster, accelerating the cultivation of advanced construction productivity.
