ZHONGMIAO (01471) has announced changes to its board of directors following the conclusion of its annual general meeting. Mr. Zhang Zhiquan has stepped down from his role as an executive director. Separately, Ms. Wu Xianqiao informed the board that, due to personal work adjustments, she would not stand for re-election to the second-term board and has retired from her positions as an independent non-executive director, as well as a member of the company's audit committee and nomination committee, after the annual meeting.

Following the meeting, (i) Mr. Sui Shichao has been appointed as an executive director; and (ii) Mr. Wu Jiayao has been appointed as an independent non-executive director. In light of (i) Ms. Wu's retirement from the independent non-executive director role and her committee memberships, and (ii) the appointment of Mr. Wu as an independent non-executive director, the board further announced that Mr. Wu has been appointed as a member of both the audit committee and the nomination committee, effective immediately upon the conclusion of the annual general meeting.
