BJ ENT URBAN (03718) has announced that the group expects its profit attributable to company shareholders for the year ending December 31, 2025, to increase by more than approximately 750% compared to the year ended December 31, 2024. This significant increase is primarily attributable to several factors: (i) improved operational performance, driven by business expansion in city services and enhanced operational efficiency; (ii) a reduction in finance costs resulting from the repayment of bank borrowings due to strong operating cash inflow, coupled with a lower average interest rate achieved through refinancing arrangements; (iii) a decrease in impairment losses on non-current assets for hazardous waste treatment projects compared to the same period last year; and (iv) a one-time gain from the liquidation of a subsidiary within the hazardous waste treatment business.
