Shares of YUK WING GP (01536) climbed more than 30% in Hong Kong trading on Wednesday, extending a two-day surge that has now boosted the stock by over 2.4 times. At the time of writing, the stock was up 29.7% to HK$0.655, with turnover reaching HK$24.2 million.
In a regulatory filing, the company announced that its controlling shareholder, Choi Fai Investment Limited, had sold a total of 176 million shares between September 8 and September 15, 2026, representing approximately 38.54% of the company's total issued share capital. Following the disposal, Choi Fai holds 12.446 million shares, or about 2.73% of the issued share capital, and has ceased to be a controlling shareholder.
Separately, the board was informed that Hellobaby International Limited had purchased 132 million shares from Choi Fai on September 15, 2026, at approximately HK$0.454 per share, representing 29.00% of the company's issued share capital. This transaction makes Hellobaby International Limited a major shareholder of the company. The company confirmed that Hellobaby International Limited and its ultimate beneficial owner are independent of, unconnected with, and not acting in concert with Choi Fai or its associates.
