The Southern 2x Long NVIDIA ETF (07788) climbed more than 4%, rising 4.58% to HK$159.75 as of press time, with a turnover of HK$1.1634 million.

On the news front, Daiwa released a research report noting that NVIDIA (NVDA.US) hosted GTC in Berlin, with a key focus on driving Europe toward a more aggressive shift and investment in AI.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang reviewed a number of major announcements and trends during his keynote speech. The bank believes the company continues to actively address multiple AI technology pain points, though how long it will take for large-scale AI investment to be regarded as strategically valuable remains difficult to resolve for NVIDIA or any company.

The bank noted that Europe has a strong industrial base, and if it invests more actively in physical AI, it could become a leader in this emerging field.

On the product side, Jensen Huang confirmed that Vera Rubin has entered full mass production.

To accelerate data center deployment, NVIDIA announced the DSX POD, a modular, pre-integrated Vera Rubin AI factory, which is expected to shorten deployment time at prepared sites from about 6 months to as little as 14 days, and is expected to be available in early 2027.

The bank continued that NVIDIA plans to expand global manufacturing capacity and emphasized a commitment of nearly US$10 billion to Europe's technology ecosystem.

The bank continues to support the view that AI is delivering returns and believes concerns about an AI "bubble" will dissipate again over time, maintaining an "outperform" rating on NVIDIA.
