Legion Consortium Limited reported a turnaround for the six months ended 30 June 2026, posting a net profit of S$0.67 million compared with a S$1.57 million loss a year earlier. Basic earnings per share recovered to 0.06 Singapore cents from a loss of 0.12 cents.
Revenue rose 10.8% year on year to S$32.81 million, driven by higher volumes and pricing in core logistics segments: • Trucking services: up 12.2% to S$15.65 million • Freight forwarding: up 23.5% to S$12.65 million • Value-added transportation services (VATS): down 18.2% to S$4.51 million following a warehouse contract termination
Gross profit edged up 1.3% to S$9.87 million, though the margin narrowed to 30.1% from 32.9% amid higher trucking costs. Administrative expenses declined 15.9% to S$8.97 million, reflecting the absence of prior-period one-off professional and consultancy fees. Net other gains of S$0.10 million contrasted with a S$0.31 million loss in the prior period, aided by foreign-exchange gains.
Finance costs increased 23.1% to S$0.24 million, while income tax remained stable at S$0.47 million.
Balance-sheet metrics were solid: • Cash and cash equivalents: S$15.54 million (31 December 2025: S$14.78 million) • Net assets: S$50.16 million (up 1.4% since year-end 2025) • Interest-bearing liabilities: S$13.05 million • Gearing ratio: 26.0% (31 December 2025: 28.0%) • Undrawn banking facilities: S$7.30 million • Capital commitments: S$3.20 million for property, plant and equipment
No interim dividend was declared. The company’s board structure, shareholding (Mirana Holdings retains 75%), and public float remain unchanged. Management highlighted plans to expand warehousing capacity through a new long-term lease, pursue growth in trucking and VATS, and maintain prudent cost control amid fluctuating fuel prices, interest rates, and labour costs.
