Changsha Changtai Robotics Co., Ltd. has reached a significant international milestone, having recently received its European market entry credentials. The company's independently developed embodied intelligence winding robot has successfully obtained EU CE certification, marking it as the first industrial embodied AI robot product from China to achieve this status.

The CE certification acts as a mandatory safety passport for products entering the European market. Unlike standard self-declaration processes, this certification was rigorously evaluated by German-based TÜV Rheinland, an internationally recognized independent testing, inspection, and certification body. TÜV's testing procedures are renowned for their strictness, thoroughly assessing factors including safety performance, intelligent capabilities, and batch-to-batch consistency. Passing this evaluation signifies that Changtai Robotics' products now possess full compliance qualifications for the European marketplace.

Founded in 2010, Changsha Changtai Robotics stands among the first batch of national-level specialized and innovative "Little Giant" enterprises. The company focuses on the research and manufacturing of intelligent high-end equipment and operates under Hunan Central and Southern Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd.. Its proprietary industrial robot body, known as the "Changsha No. 1", represents Hunan province's first industrial robot with fully independent intellectual property rights.

The certified embodied intelligence winding robot is one of Changtai's three standardized export equipment lines. The other two include an embodied intelligence winding and fabric inspection machine, alongside an embodied intelligence cleaning and polishing robot. Specifically designed for mid-to-high-end transformer manufacturing scenarios, the winding robot excels in batch production of circular single-axis high-voltage coils.

The technological core of this robot lies in its tension closed-loop control system, which maintains stable tension throughout the entire winding process. This precision effectively prevents common manufacturing defects such as wire crossing or coil collapse, delivering both exceptional versatility and operational flexibility. According to company chairman Gao Di, the enterprise has established joint laboratories with Hunan University and Central South University. These collaborations have driven breakthroughs in embodied intelligence perception and hybrid force-position control technologies, forming the solid technical foundation that enabled the product to pass Europe's stringent certification requirements.

Regarding its international expansion strategy, Changtai Robotics is accelerating its overseas compliance certifications across multiple regions. The company is iterating its entire product series to meet the distinct standards of markets including the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia. By leveraging insights from already-launched international projects, it continues to reverse-optimize algorithmic performance and improve equipment adaptability to diverse environmental conditions. Previously, the enterprise has repeatedly undertaken key intelligent equipment projects under China's Ministry of Science and Technology and Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Notably, its products are the only domestic equipment of their kind to have entered a prominent American technology company's operations.
