Hainan Drinda New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (“Drinda New Energy”) announced a comprehensive adjustment to its Hong Kong company secretarial structure, effective 26 June 2026.

• Resignations – Ms. Zheng Tong will retire as Joint Company Secretary and Authorised Representative under Rule 3.05 of the Listing Rules. – Ms. Yu Wing Sze will step down as Joint Company Secretary, Authorised Representative and Hong Kong Process Agent.

• New appointments – Ms. Liu Shuang, currently deputy director of Drinda New Energy’s securities department, becomes Joint Company Secretary. – Mr. Zheng Hongwei, an executive director, is appointed Authorised Representative. – Ms. Fung Sin Ting Karin, an executive at TMF Hong Kong Limited, takes on the roles of Joint Company Secretary, Authorised Representative and Process Agent.

• Background of appointees – Ms. Liu, aged 33, joined Drinda New Energy in June 2023 after six years with GCL Energy Technology. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in finance and economics and manages A+H share compliance and investor relations. – Ms. Fung possesses approximately four years of corporate secretarial experience and is a Chartered Secretary and Chartered Governance Professional.

• HKEX waiver The Stock Exchange has granted Drinda New Energy a waiver from the qualification requirements of Listing Rules 3.28 and 8.17 for Ms. Liu’s appointment as Joint Company Secretary for a three-year period. Conditions include: 1) Ms. Liu must be assisted by Ms. Fung during the waiver period. 2) The waiver may be revoked upon any material breach of Listing Rules. Prior to expiry, the company must demonstrate that Ms. Liu has gained sufficient experience to fulfil the role independently.

The board expressed gratitude to the outgoing secretaries and welcomed the new appointees to their positions.
