China Unicom (Hong Kong) Limited (the Company) announced that Executive Director, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Chen Zhongyue, has resigned from all his positions, including his role on the Nomination Committee, effective 29 October 2025. According to the announcement, the resignation is due to a change in work arrangement, and there is no disagreement with the Board nor any matter requiring the attention of shareholders.

During Mr. Chen Zhongyue’s tenure, the Company pursued reform efforts and strong development, particularly in facilitating national strategies and integrating computing and digital applications with network and data capabilities. Under his leadership, the Company recorded steady revenue growth and enhanced profitability, while continuing to expand its international reach and strengthen its innovative capabilities.

The Board extended high praise and sincere gratitude for Mr. Chen Zhongyue’s contributions. Plans for consequential adjustments to the Board are under discussion and will be announced in accordance with relevant listing rules when further decisions are made.
