Aowei Holding Limited announced a profit alert indicating a substantial narrowing of its loss for the six months ended 30 June 2026. Management expects to report a loss attributable to owners of no more than RMB20.00 million, a 73.5% improvement from the RMB75.60 million loss recorded in the same period of 2025.
The anticipated turnaround is primarily driven by three factors:
1. Margin Expansion: Higher selling prices for iron-ore concentrates, coupled with tighter control over raw-material procurement and logistics expenses, lifted gross profit margin during the reporting period.
2. Business Recovery: Production and sales volumes in the sand-and-gravel segment of subsidiary Laiyuan County Jiheng Mining Co., Ltd. continued to rebound, supporting overall revenue.
3. Credit-Loss Reversal: Impairment losses booked under the expected-credit-loss model in the prior-year period switched to a net reversal in the current half, easing bottom-line pressure.
The figures are based on the Group’s unaudited management accounts and remain subject to review and possible adjustment. Aowei Holding plans to release full interim results by end-August 2026. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when trading the company’s shares.
