Zhonghua Gas Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 8246) has announced that RSM Hong Kong resigned as its auditor effective 27 January 2026. According to the announcement, the resignation arose from a lack of consensus on the audit fee for the financial year ending 31 March 2026. RSM Hong Kong confirmed there were no other matters that needed to be brought to shareholders’ attention regarding its resignation.

The board further stated that RSM Hong Kong had not commenced any audit work for the reporting period and that this change of auditor is not expected to significantly affect the annual audit schedule. After evaluating several audit fee quotations, the audit committee recommended and the board appointed Rongcheng (Hong Kong) CPA Limited effective 27 January 2026 until the conclusion of the next annual general meeting. The company emphasized that this appointment would maintain audit quality while supporting overall cost control measures.
