ENM Holdings Expects HK$8.70 Million Interim Loss, Issues Profit Warning on Investment Revaluation Impact

Bulletin Express
07/16

ENM Holdings Limited (ENM Holdings) has issued a profit warning, indicating an expected loss attributable to shareholders of about HK$8.70 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026, a reversal from the HK$9.70 million profit recorded in the corresponding period of 2025.

The anticipated downturn is mainly linked to a fall in the fair value of private-equity fund holdings amid heightened global market volatility. In addition, the Group disposed of part of its remaining investment portfolio to bolster liquidity and curb market exposure, leading to a roughly 31% year-on-year reduction in net realised and unrealised gains.

Despite the projected loss, management reports a robust liquidity position; the current ratio stood at approximately 81 times as of 30 June 2026.

Key valuation data—including updated property appraisals and fair-value assessments of financial assets—are pending, and the interim figures remain subject to audit adjustments. The Company plans to release its full interim results by end-August 2026.

The profit warning constitutes a profit forecast under Rule 10 of the Hong Kong Takeovers Code. Because the required reports from the Company’s financial adviser and auditors have not yet been prepared, the disclosure does not meet the full Rule 10 standard. ENM Holdings advises shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in its securities.
