TUNGTEX Issues Profit Warning, Projects HK$14.00–17.00 Million FY-2026 Loss After U.S. Tariff Shock

Tungtex (Holdings) Company Limited (TUNGTEX) expects to report a loss attributable to owners of between HK$14.00 million and HK$17.00 million for the financial year ended 31 March 2026, according to a profit warning released on 18 June 2026.

The projected deficit widens substantially from the HK$9.90 million loss recorded in FY-2025. Management attributes the deterioration primarily to a “significant decrease” in export sales to the North American market, following the implementation of new U.S. tariff policies announced in April 2025. The tougher trade environment has “drastically” impacted the Group’s revenue performance throughout the year.

These figures are based on unaudited consolidated management accounts and may be updated once the independent auditor completes its review. Final annual results are scheduled for disclosure on 26 June 2026.

TUNGTEX’s board advises shareholders and prospective investors to exercise caution when dealing in the company’s shares until the audited results are released.
