Coca-Cola announced on Monday that it is considering an initial public offering (IPO) for its largest bottler in India, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages.

The company stated it is preparing for a listing on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India by 2027. It added that it is also exploring the possibility of selling a partial stake in the subsidiary.

The Indian conglomerate Jubilant Bhartia Group completed the acquisition of a 40% stake in Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages in 2025.

"Coca-Cola will continue to invest in this critical bottler and focus on expanding our portfolio of global and local brands in India," said Sanket Ray, President of Coca-Cola India and Southwest Asia and head of the emerging large markets.

The beverage giant has faced competition in the Indian market from Campa Cola, a consumer goods brand under Reliance Industries.

Media reports last year indicated that if an IPO proceeds, the Coca-Cola bottling company could be valued at around $10 billion.
