JD LOGISTICS (02618) has won the bid for the finished card mailing service project of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), as disclosed on the Shaanxi Procurement and Bidding Network. Leveraging its highly efficient and stable super logistics supply chain, JD LOGISTICS will provide nationwide delivery services for the bank. In 2024, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) issued guidelines advocating for central enterprises to integrate social responsibility concepts into the management of their industrial chains, supply chains, and value chains, actively encouraging upstream and downstream partners to jointly fulfill responsibilities and build an ecosystem for social responsibility.

JD LOGISTICS has achieved comprehensive coverage across all counties in China and basic coverage of administrative villages, including remote areas such as Xinjiang, Tibet, Inner Mongolia, and Yunnan. The company has established nearly 100,000 service stations in towns and villages, further bridging the "last mile" of grassroots services and benefiting a vast number of consumers in both urban and rural areas. A representative from JD LOGISTICS stated that, beyond its robust supply chain operations and services, the company's contributions in the field of social responsibility have been highly recognized by numerous central and state-owned enterprises, as well as large state-owned banks, reflecting a strong alignment with ESG principles.

The super supply chain built by JD LOGISTICS is characterized as a "responsible supply chain," demonstrating positive outcomes in employee welfare and development, social emergency response, circular economy and green development, and corporate compliance. Since 2017, through its "Green Stream Initiative," JD LOGISTICS has continuously implemented green practices across packaging, warehousing, and transportation. The company's warehouse rooftop solar photovoltaic capacity has reached 139.22 megawatts, and its self-operated new energy vehicle fleet for road transport exceeds 10,000 units. It has innovatively developed an algorithm-based "shift from road to rail" solution and established the industry's first packaging laboratory covering the entire upstream and downstream supply chain.

JD LOGISTICS has promoted the use of over 20 million biodegradable packaging materials and reduced secondary packaging by more than 1 billion units. The company has independently developed the Supply Chain Carbon Management Platform (SCEMP), also known as "Jing Tan Hui," pioneering a "distributed carbon ledger" management model that serves over 1,000 brands globally. A series of the company's green practices have received international and industry recognition. For instance, its achievements were featured in the World Economic Forum's report on green logistics innovation in emerging markets, and the "Green Stream Initiative" was selected as a representative case for the 2025 "Geneva Vision Initiative." Recently, JD LOGISTICS was included in the S&P Global 2026 Sustainability Yearbook and participated in drafting the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 2026 "Application Cases of Green Logistics Activities."

Mr. Liu Qiangdong, Founder and Chairman of JD Group, has established an internal rule stipulating that in the event of a disaster anywhere in the country, managers of the nearest JD warehouse have the authority to donate necessary supplies from the inventory without prior approval. Simultaneously, JD promptly forms emergency support teams to ensure dedicated transportation of relief materials. Utilizing its global logistics super supply chain, JD LOGISTICS has actively contributed to emergency responses, including a major fire in Tai Po, Hong Kong; floods in Miyun, Beijing; and heavy snowstorms in several European countries, aiding affected individuals and businesses.

Furthermore, JD LOGISTICS consistently serves over 1,000 industrial belts across China. In key production areas for products like spring tea, lychees, cherries, and hairy crabs, the company utilizes its industry-leading integrated supply chain capabilities to actively support rural revitalization and increase farmers' incomes. Notably, to comprehensively protect the rights and interests of its frontline employees, JD has pioneered "direct employment contracts" in the industry since establishing its own logistics network in 2007, ensuring 100% formal labor contracts for all frontline staff, 100% contributions to the five social insurances and one housing fund, and 100% provision of formal employee benefits. While the domestic food delivery industry has developed over 15 to 16 years, no platform has previously offered labor contracts or social security contributions to its riders. Upon entering this sector, JD began providing full social security contributions for all its full-time delivery riders.

Over the next five years, JD plans to invest 22 billion yuan in constructing 150,000 "Courier Homes," creating the largest, highest-quality, and most extensive housing security system for couriers. This initiative will enable full-time riders to access well-located, fully-equipped housing at rents significantly below market rates or even for free. This past Spring Festival, numerous courier families enjoyed reunion dinners in their new "Courier Homes." Additionally, in collaboration with Guangdong Province, JD has established the nation's first "Rider Academy," a platform offering career development and skill enhancement support for incumbent food delivery riders and couriers.
