Samsonite Executes HKD 20.79 Million Share Buyback, Treasury Stock Climbs to 94.51 Million Shares

Samsonite Group S.A. repurchased 1.43 million ordinary shares on 29 May 2026 through on-market transactions in Hong Kong. The buyback, conducted at prices ranging from HKD 14.46 to HKD 14.69 and averaging HKD 14.57 per share, cost a total of HKD 20.79 million and represents 0.1039 % of Samsonite’s previously issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).

Following the transaction, issued shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) declined to 1.37 billion, while treasury shares rose to 94.51 million. Total issued share capital remains unchanged at 1.47 billion shares.

The repurchase was executed under the buyback mandate approved on 3 June 2025, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 138.31 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 15.20 million shares, or 1.0993 % of the issued share base on the mandate date.

In line with Hong Kong Stock Exchange rules, Samsonite is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 28 June 2026.
