CITIC Telecom International Holdings Limited (referred to here as “CITIC Telecom”) has published a notice of an extraordinary general meeting (EGM). According to the announcement, the EGM is scheduled for Wednesday, 17 December 2025 at 11:00 a.m. and will take place at the Conference Room, 6th Floor, CITIC Tower, 1 Tim Mei Avenue, Central, Hong Kong.

The meeting aims to consider and approve proposed deposit services under four separate financial services framework agreements entered into on 17 October 2025 with CITIC Bank, China CITIC Bank International, CITIC Finance, and CITIC Finance International. These agreements outline the provision of deposit services to CITIC Telecom and its subsidiaries in the People’s Republic of China (PRC) and related regions, subject to certain annual caps.

A second resolution seeks to authorize the chairman or any director of CITIC Telecom to execute necessary documents and undertake actions to implement and give effect to the approved agreements if they are ratified at the EGM.

Important procedural details include the requirement for members to submit proxy appointments to the company’s share registrar at least 48 hours before the meeting. The register of members of CITIC Telecom will be closed from 12 December 2025 to 17 December 2025 for the purpose of determining eligible shareholders to attend and vote during the meeting. In addition, the announcement notes that if a black rainstorm warning signal, extreme weather, or a tropical cyclone warning signal No. 8 or above remains in effect in Hong Kong on the day of the meeting, the gathering may be postponed.
