Standard Chartered Group announced on January 27th that, starting in 2026, it will become the Official Wealth Management Partner and the Official Corporate & Investment Banking Partner of the FIA Formula One World Championship (F1) through a multi-year agreement. This landmark partnership unites two organizations whose core identities are built on a "continuous pursuit of excellence and the facilitation of unique global connectivity." As one of the world's fastest-growing sports, F1 is attracting a younger and more diverse audience—43% of its fans are under the age of 35, and 42% are female. The global footprint of F1 races aligns strongly with Standard Chartered's cross-border business network, with the bank having a presence in 19 out of the 21 countries that host F1 events. The Standard Chartered brand logo will be prominently displayed along F1 circuits, and the bank's clients will gain access to a series of exclusive experiences.
