Shares of KEEP (03650) jumped more than 8% at their peak during Tuesday's trading session, currently up 3.93% to HK$1.85 with turnover reaching HK$152,100. The price movement comes as the fitness technology company announced a significant milestone in its artificial intelligence strategy.
On August 19, the company revealed that its proprietary fitness-focused large language model, Keepace.ai, has successfully completed both national and Beijing municipal filing requirements for AI models. The model integrates a decade of accumulated sports data assets from the Keep platform, which includes billions of data points from user activities. Development was supported by expert consultation from the Capital Institute of Physical Education, leveraging the institution's extensive research in exercise physiology, training science, and injury prevention to maintain safety standards while delivering personalized guidance.
Unlike general-purpose large language models, Keepace.ai is engineered to meet the precision demands of fitness and health scenarios, providing recommendations that prioritize safety, scientific validity, and user adaptability. The system conducts dynamic risk assessments that incorporate user injury history, current physical condition, and real-time status, while also factoring in fitness levels, fatigue metrics, and available equipment to generate highly granular and customized coaching advice.
The company has indicated that it will continue making long-term investments in AI research and product development, gradually transforming its technological capabilities into tangible user experiences while exploring new commercialization opportunities. Additional applications of its vertical AI solutions in the fitness and health sector are expected to be rolled out in the second half of this year.
