On November 21, CPIC announced that the company recently held a staff representative assembly, electing Zhou Liyun as the employee director for the 10th Board of Directors. Her term will last until the conclusion of the 10th Board's tenure. Her appointment as director will take effect upon approval of the amended Articles of Association of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. by the National Financial Regulatory Administration (NFRA) and the confirmation of her director qualification by the NFRA, following deliberation at the company's first extraordinary general meeting in 2025.

According to her resume, Zhou Liyun, born in September 1974, currently serves as CPIC's Deputy Party Secretary, Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Employee Representative Supervisor, Chairperson of the Labor Union, President of the Party School, and Secretary of the Directly Affiliated Party Committee. Previously, she held positions including Deputy Director of the Shanghai Personnel Service and Consultation Center, General Manager of the Organization and Human Resources Department at Shanghai Urban Construction Investment and Development Corporation, Deputy General Manager of Shanghai Chengtou Water (Group) Co., Ltd., and Vice President of Shanghai Chengtou (Group) Co., Ltd. She holds a master's degree and holds the title of Political Engineer.
