Kangda International Environmental Company Limited (Kangda Environmental) will implement a broad board-level reshuffle effective 1 July 2026.

Two departures • Non-executive director Mr. Zhao Juanxian (alias Zhao Junxian) will resign because of other business commitments. • Independent non-executive director (INED) Mr. Chang Qing will also step down for the same reason. Both executives have confirmed no disagreement with the board and no matters requiring shareholder attention.

New independent director • Mr. Liew Fui Kiang, aged 59, joins as INED and becomes a member of the Audit Committee and the Nomination Committee. • Governance profile: currently an INED at Shandong Gold Mining, Zhaoke Ophthalmology, Zhengye International Holdings and Zhongchang International Holdings; previously served on boards or supervisory bodies of Baoshan Iron & Steel, Ping An Insurance and PacRay International. • Professional credentials: solicitor of England & Wales and Hong Kong, fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Directors, MBA from Hull University Business School, LLB from the University of Leeds, plus ESG Investing certification from CFA Institute. • Remuneration and tenure: annual director’s fee of HK$0.36 million, initial one-year term from 1 July 2026, subject to rotation and re-election in line with the company’s articles and Hong Kong Listing Rules. Mr. Liew meets all independence criteria under Rule 3.13.

Committee realignment (effective 1 July 2026) • Audit Committee: Mr. Chau Kam Wing Donald (Chair), Mr. Peng Yongzhen, Mr. Liew Fui Kiang. • Remuneration Committee: Mr. Peng Yongzhen (Chair), Mr. Chau Kam Wing Donald, Mr. Li Zhong (newly added). • Nomination Committee: Mr. Chau Kam Wing Donald (Chair), Mr. Peng Yongzhen, Mr. Liew Fui Kiang, Mr. Li Zhong, Ms. Liu Yujie.

The board thanked the outgoing directors for their service and welcomed Mr. Liew to his new role.
