Iran's Oil Minister, Mohsen Paknejad, announced on Saturday that discussions are underway regarding the supply of oil and surplus fuel to Tajikistan. The statement followed a meeting in Tehran with the Tajikistani Energy Minister.

According to Paknejad, efforts are currently focused on drafting a framework document for a long-term export agreement between the two nations.
