This summer saw a significant convergence of tourism, family visits, and student travel, driving sustained strong demand for air travel. Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport leveraged its advantages as a regional aviation hub, actively coordinating with major airlines to increase dedicated summer capacity. The airport continued to strengthen trunk routes connecting the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, the Pearl River Delta, and other popular domestic tourist destinations, while strategically deploying wide-body aircraft on long-haul trunk routes to enhance transportation capacity.
The airport also optimized its provincial aviation network, enriching products that connect trunk and regional routes as well as inter-regional connections. This streamlined both intra-provincial connectivity and inter-provincial two-way flow, significantly expanding aviation accessibility and route coverage while reinforcing the airport's role as a regional aviation distribution hub.
While maintaining a strong safety foundation, Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport continued to upgrade service quality under the theme "Travel and Stay in Guizhou, Life More Colorful." Focused on diverse passenger needs, the airport introduced a series of thoughtful convenience measures, including Guizhou cultural feature photo spots within the terminal and regular parent-child activities during the summer season. These initiatives transformed the waiting areas into a window showcasing Guizhou's cultural tourism appeal and promoting the "Cool Guiyang" city image.
By dynamically allocating security inspection lanes, check-in counters, and transfer support resources, the airport streamlined connection procedures and reduced transit times, significantly improving passenger efficiency and comprehensively enhancing the overall travel experience.
