However, the total value of the brands that made the list increased by 9.7% compared to the prior year.

Chinese brands from the insurance sector performed notably, with seven insurance institutions making the ranking: Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd. (32nd), China Life Insurance (104th), People's Insurance Company (Group) of China (145th), China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co. (168th), AIA Group (174th), Prudential plc (350th), and Cathay Life Insurance (407th).

Among the seven listed brands, six achieved growth in their brand value. The brand value of People's Insurance Company (Group) of China saw a substantial increase of 12%, reaching $16.82 billion, and its ranking improved by five places to 145th globally.
