Shares of BUSYMING (01768) rose over 4% in Hong Kong trading.

The stock was up 2.89% at the time of writing, trading at HK$334.4 with a turnover of HK$186 million.

The increase follows an announcement from the Shenzhen Stock Exchange regarding an adjustment to the list of securities eligible for the Southbound Stock Connect program.

BUSYMING has been added to the list, with the change taking effect from June 8, 2026.

Analysts at Citi noted that the company has significant room to expand its retail outlets.

They also highlighted that BUSYMING is increasingly viewed by major Chinese food and beverage brands as an emerging sales channel.

Citi forecasts the company will achieve robust growth in its Gross Merchandise Volume for the fiscal years 2026 through 2028.

Separately, China International Capital Corporation provided analysis on the company's store expansion.

Based on data from AutoNavi Maps, CICC reported that from January to May, new store openings for the "Snack Busy" brand were concentrated in its established regions for market densification, such as Hunan, Hubei, Guizhou, and Yunnan.

In contrast, new store openings for the "Zhao Yiming" brand showed a more balanced geographical distribution, including provinces like Guangdong, Guangxi, Zhejiang, Jiangxi, and Jiangsu.

Regarding same-store sales performance, CICC anticipates year-on-year improvement.

This expectation is based on the company's implementation of various measures aimed at operational optimization and enhancing display efficiency.
