Lajin Entertainment Network Group Limited (LAJIN ENT) announced an update on independent non-executive director (INED) Lam Cheung Shing Richard after the Hong Kong High Court ordered the winding-up of China Water Industry Group Limited on 15 June 2026.
The court order, issued under the Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance, followed a petition lodged on 17 November 2025 over an unpaid loan of RMB 216.60 million, plus accrued interest, advanced to an indirect non–wholly-owned subsidiary of China Water. The Hong Kong Official Receiver has been appointed provisional liquidator. Lam has served as an INED of China Water since 5 August 2019.
LAJIN ENT stressed that the winding-up proceedings involve China Water, not the LAJIN group, and the Board does not expect any impact on the Group’s operations. Lam affirmed that no claims have been or are expected to be made against him in connection with the case, and confirmed there is no further information requiring disclosure under applicable GEM Listing Rules.
Trading in LAJIN ENT shares has been suspended since 09:00 on 13 November 2025 and will remain halted until further notice. The company advises shareholders and investors to exercise caution when dealing in its securities.
