Huabao International Keeps Share Count Flat in May; Buys Back 1.22 Million Shares for HK$4.43 Million

Huabao International Holdings Limited reported no change in its authorised or issued share capital for May 2026, while confirming compliance with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s 25% public-float requirement.

Key highlights for the month ended 31 May 2026:

1. Share Capital • Authorised share capital remained at 5.00 billion ordinary shares with a par value of HK$0.10, equivalent to HK$500.00 million. • Issued shares (excluding treasury shares) were unchanged at 3.228 billion.

2. Share Repurchases Pending Cancellation • The company repurchased 1.22 million shares on 11 May 2026 at prices ranging from HK$3.54 to HK$3.70 per share. • Aggregate consideration for the repurchases totalled approximately HK$4.43 million. • All repurchased shares were bought for cancellation and remained uncancelled at month-end; therefore, the issued share figure was not yet reduced.

3. Share Option Scheme • The 2024 Share Option Scheme retained 147.07 million outstanding options, unchanged from April. • No options were granted, exercised, lapsed, or cancelled in May. • The scheme still allows up to 175.92 million additional shares to be issued upon future exercises.

4. Public Float • Huabao International affirmed that its public float exceeded the minimum 25% threshold required under Main Board Rule 13.32B.

No warrants, convertible securities, or other equity instruments were issued or exercised during the period, and no treasury shares were transferred.
