Calamos Investments has announced that its closed-end fund, the Calamos Dynamic Convertible and Income Fund (CCD), will distribute a monthly dividend.

According to the company's announcement, the CCD fund will pay a cash dividend of $0.195 per share to shareholders on May 21, 2026. The record date and ex-dividend date are both set for May 14. This distribution plan is consistent with the fund's long-standing monthly dividend level. Data shows that the CCD fund has maintained a stable monthly dividend of $0.195 per share since 2022.

The CCD fund was established on March 27, 2015, and is a diversified, closed-end management investment company. The fund's investment objective is to achieve total return through a combination of capital appreciation and current income. According to publicly disclosed information, the fund typically invests at least 80% of its managed assets in a portfolio of convertible securities and income-producing securities.

As of March 31, 2026, the CCD fund had net assets of approximately $582 million, with total managed assets of about $903 million. Regarding the composition of the dividend, the May 2026 distribution consists of approximately $0.1004 from short-term capital gains and about $0.0946 from a return of capital. Approximately 85% of the fund's overall portfolio is allocated to convertible bonds, with the information technology sector representing the largest allocation at 36.7%.

Analysts point out that in the current market environment, convertible bonds offer both the defensive characteristics of bonds and the upside potential of stocks. Such funds hold certain allocation value for investors seeking stable income.
