On 10 January 2025 and 8 August 2025, Legion Consortium Limited (2129), through its wholly owned subsidiary Rejoice Container Services (Pte) Ltd, entered into an initial construction contract and an additional construction contract with Soon He Construction Pte. Ltd. The two contracts are valued at approximately S$5,408,000 and S$1,972,000 respectively, both exclusive of GST. Collectively, they constitute a major transaction under relevant listing rules.

The construction work involves the design and build of a three-storey single-user industrial building at 14 Benoi Sector in Singapore, comprising two levels of workshops and one level of ancillary office space. The combined gross floor area is approximately 2,819.22 square metres, following additional works included under the second contract. The project is divided into phases, with Phase 1 set for completion around November 2025 and Phase 2 expected by June 2026.

The contracts will be financed partly through bank facilities and partly by the group’s internal resources. As of the latest practicable date, interim payments have been made based on certified construction progress, and all project financing arrangements are in place. The enhancements to the facility aim to support existing container depot services, installation of industrial machinery and equipment, and broader mechanical engineering works.

A portion of the building is expected to be rented out to bolster income streams once completed. According to the company’s circular, the contracts received approval by way of a written resolution from the controlling shareholder. The board noted that these agreements are on normal commercial terms and will expand operational capacity for Legion Consortium Limited (2129), potentially contributing positively to the group’s long-term strategic objectives.
