Central China MT (09982) announced that on January 23, 2026, the company's controlling shareholder, Joy Bright Investments Limited (wholly owned by Mr. Hu Baosen, the company's Chairman and Non-Executive Director), acting as the seller, entered into a sale and purchase agreement with King Link International Investment Limited (the buyer, wholly owned by Mr. Huang Yongheng). The seller agreed to dispose of a total of approximately 386.6 million shares in the company, representing about 10.00% of the issued share capital, for a consideration of approximately HK$39.8159 million. The disposal is expected to be completed shortly after the date of the agreement.

Following the completion of the transaction, Joy Bright will retain a beneficial interest in approximately 1.358 billion shares, equivalent to about 35.13% of the company's issued share capital. Consequently, Joy Bright will remain the controlling shareholder and the single largest shareholder of the company.

The buyer will hold approximately 10.00% of the company's issued share capital, thereby becoming a major shareholder.
