PAK TAK INT'L Warns of Narrower Interim Loss Amid Revenue Decline

08/20

PAK TAK INT'L (02668) has issued a profit warning, projecting a significantly narrower loss for the six months ending June 30, 2026, compared to the same period last year.

The company anticipates a substantial drop in revenue of approximately 60% for the period, yet it expects the loss attributable to equity shareholders to range between HK$82 million and HK$102 million, an improvement from the HK$114 million loss recorded in the corresponding period of the prior year.

The board attributes the expected revenue reduction primarily to three key factors. First, the supply chain business has seen a notable decrease in revenue contribution, driven by weak domestic market demand and a subsequent fall in transaction volumes. Second, the iron ore mining and processing segment has experienced lower revenue due to a temporary halt in operations for safety inspections and facility upgrades, in response to recent regulatory compliance requirements. Third, the reclassification of discontinued operations related to the sale of the hotel management and catering services business has also impacted the figures.
