Wai Chi Holdings Company Limited disclosed a repurchase of 110,000 ordinary shares on 23 June 2026 via on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The shares were repurchased at prices ranging from HK$0.87 to HK$0.88, with a volume-weighted average cost of HK$0.8773, resulting in a total cash outlay of approximately HK$0.10 million.
Following the transaction, the company’s issued share capital (excluding treasury shares) fell by 0.05 % to 218.97 million shares. The repurchased shares were retained as treasury stock, lifting Wai Chi Holdings’ treasury share balance to 0.76 million shares and keeping the total issued share count unchanged at 219.73 million.
The buyback was executed under the general mandate approved by shareholders on 27 May 2026, which authorises the repurchase of up to 21.97 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate now stand at 0.76 million shares, representing 3.44 % of the company’s issued shares on the mandate date. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, Wai Chi Holdings is restricted from issuing new shares or disposing of treasury shares until 23 July 2026.
