Bloom Energy Corp (BE) saw its stock price surge 5.04% during pre-market trading on Friday, continuing a positive momentum from the previous session.

The sharp rise follows the disclosure of a landmark commercial agreement between Bloom Energy and AI infrastructure company Nebius. According to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Nebius's subsidiary entered into a Master Fuel Cell Capacity Agreement and related system orders with Bloom Energy on May 14.

Under the terms of the agreement, Nebius will pay monthly service fees totaling up to $2.6 billion over the contract term to purchase power system capacity and electricity from Bloom Energy. The power capacity is expected to be deployed in three phases, providing approximately 250 megawatts of guaranteed capacity and about 328 megawatts of system installed capacity. Bloom Energy will be responsible for installing, operating, and maintaining the power supply systems at Nebius's U.S. data centers, with potential for future global expansion.
