At the 2026 interim results briefing held on August 21, Ping An Insurance (Group) Company Of China, Ltd. Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer Fu Xin addressed the company's market valuation, stating that market value management remains a top priority for the management team.

Fu Xin acknowledged that the capital markets have been complex and volatile during the first half of the year, with the company's share price experiencing fluctuations consistent with the broader sector. She attributed this to rotation dynamics between financial stocks and high-growth technology stocks, which has been a key factor driving share price movement for both Ping An and its industry peers.

Notably, Fu Xin highlighted that based on valuations from several major international investment banks, the current share price does not adequately reflect the company's intrinsic worth. Target valuations set by institutions including JPMorgan, Citigroup, and HSBC are more than 50% higher than the current trading level, indicating that the market has yet to fully recognize the company's underlying value.
