AUTOHOME-S (02518) rose more than 6%, and as of the time of writing, the stock was up 5.8% to HK$37.96. On the news front, the company recently held a brand renewal launch event in Beijing titled "Trust, Start Anew." During the event, the company unveiled a refreshed brand logo and a revamped mobile application, while also announcing a series of initiatives including a digital human, an AIGC creation contest, and an AI assistant. These steps are aimed at advancing automotive content innovation and simplifying user decision-making through AI technology. Notably, the event showcased the progress in implementing its self-developed Cangjie large model and AI assistant. These technologies are currently in a value accumulation phase, with a clear commercialization path: using AI to assist car-buying decisions, intelligently match vehicle inventory, and enhance content production efficiency, indicating promising long-term prospects. It has been pointed out that AUTOHOME's brand renewal is not merely a superficial image upgrade but represents a profound transformation—from a media platform to an ecosystem, from traffic-driven to trust-driven, and from short-term profits to long-term value. Short-term profit adjustments and valuation fluctuations are seen as necessary phases in this transformation process. Support from Haier's ecosystem empowerment, resource synergies with Ping An, breakthroughs in AI technology, and two decades of brand heritage are collectively building AUTOHOME's irreplaceable long-term competitive barriers.
