On 10 July 2026, Tongdao Liepin Group, through its 64%-owned subsidiary Changsha Ranxing Information Technology, placed two principal-guaranteed structured deposits with Bank of Changsha, committing RMB17.60 million and RMB17.40 million, respectively. Together with two identical deposits subscribed on 11 February 2026, the Group’s 2026 placements with the bank total RMB70.00 million.
All four products are EUR/USD–linked corporate structured deposits that:
• Carry principal protection with a guaranteed minimum annualised return of 0.95%, with upside participation capped at 2.95% for the February tranches and 3.03% for the July tranches. • Run for 181–184 days, maturing between 12 August 2026 and 13 January 2027. • Do not permit early termination or redemption by the subscriber. • Are classified as “low-risk” by Bank of Changsha.
Funding was sourced from surplus cash and proceeds redeemed from previous structured deposits with Bank of Hangzhou dated 2 February 2026.
Regulatory implications: The latest subscriptions push the combined consideration of current and previous tranches above the 5% but below the 25% asset ratio threshold under Chapter 14 of the Hong Kong Listing Rules, rendering them discloseable transactions that require public announcement but not shareholder approval.
Tongdao Liepin stated that reallocating idle funds into low-risk instruments aligns with its objectives of capital preservation, liquidity management and incremental yield enhancement.
