CHALCO (02600) saw a near 5% increase following its earnings release. At the time of writing, the stock was up 3.16% to HKD 9.48, with a turnover of HKD 311 million.
On October 27, CHALCO announced its financial results for the first three quarters of 2025. The company reported revenue of RMB 176.516 billion, up 1.57% year-on-year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of RMB 10.872 billion, a 20.65% increase YoY. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 0.635.
On the same day, CHALCO disclosed that its subsidiary, Yunnan Aluminum Co., Ltd. (Yunnan Aluminum), along with CHALCO High-End Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (CHALCO High-End), Northwest Aluminum Co., Ltd. (Northwest Aluminum), and Kunming Copper Co., Ltd. (Kunming Copper), plans to sign a capital injection agreement with Yunnan Aluminum Foil Co., Ltd. (Yunnan Aluminum Foil).
Under the agreement, CHALCO High-End, Yunnan Aluminum, and Kunming Copper will collectively inject RMB 906.45 million into Yunnan Aluminum Foil. CHALCO High-End will contribute RMB 229 million in cash, Yunnan Aluminum will invest RMB 500 million in cash, and Kunming Copper will provide RMB 177.45 million (including RMB 89 million in cash and RMB 88.45 million in assets, such as land use rights, buildings, and related liabilities). Northwest Aluminum will not participate in this capital injection.
