Due to the peripheral wind and rain effects of Typhoon "Bavi," Nanjing is experiencing sustained periods of strong winds and precipitation, leading to a significant increase in potential hazards within its mountain and forest scenic areas.

On the morning of July 12th, the management department of the Zhongshan Scenic Area began guiding and advising visitors who had entered the open sections of the park to leave, arranging complimentary shuttle vehicles to transport them out of the area.

The scenic area had already issued a notice for a temporary closure on July 11th and placed relevant warning signs at all major entrances. However, a small number of visitors still entered the public areas of the park.

In response, the relevant park authorities coordinated with traffic police to quickly and effectively advise, disperse, and evacuate the remaining visitors, ensuring their personal safety.
